Cenarth 17th Century Flour Mill

Sitting comfortably and proudly next to the River Teife in a little place named Cenarth is a little 17th century flour mill, with undershot timbers and iron waterwheel driving two pairs of millstones, one for barley, the other for oats. Last worked commercially in 1964. The original mill site dates from 1100.

This shot was taken in HDR using 5 images to capture the best lighting on what was a overcast day. I opted for the black & white image here as it was much more striking!
